Personal Thoughts, Opinions, and Speculations:
- I think this episode was more intense and unpleasant to watch than the previous ones. It was difficult witnessing Oliver’s group treated as rebels and Nanao facing mistreatment from the audience.
- I’m relieved that the monsters used by the students in their illegal exhibition battle to hunt these monsters are teaching them some lessons. It seems that their karma just got back after they insulted Nanao about her concerns.
- I’m impressed that Nanao was able to defend herself against the garuda. She’s the bravest of all the brave warriors out there.
- It’s nice to see that Richard decides to throw away his pride and fights the creature together with Oliver and Nanao. Both of them recognize him as their comrade-in-arms and shows that he’s growing as a character.
- I suspect someone is plotting behind the exhibition game, using powerful creatures like the garuda that posed a threat to the students. I believe that a student is behind this plotting, and I don’t know their aim for doing this.
- The episode does a good job of exploring complex themes like bullying, animal rights, and the nature of good and evil.
With the promise of future revelations and engrossing plot progression, this episode offers an enthralling and immersive experience. If you’re seeking a series that seamlessly weaves thrilling drama, captivating character arcs, and emotionally charged storytelling, then Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihai suru is the choice for your anime watchlist.
